The photography above presents Richard Boulez - who exhibited in Gallery 23 in 1983.

Gallery8 is an inheritress of Gallery 23 led by Cezary Ostrowski in the early eighties in Poznan. The place is different now, but the idea remains the same - presenting artists who dare to blend with the gallery specific interior, who care to get into an intime connection with the gallery's entity.

Gallery 23 was all black. Gallery8 is all brick. Gallery 23 was 60 square meters big. Gallery8 is only 28 square meters. Gallery 23 had a shitty acoustics. Gallery8 has a marvellous one. These are the main differences.
